CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Machine Operators at Jyoti CNC are responsible for operating and maintaining advanced CNC machines used in precision manufacturing. They ensure the production of high-quality components by following technical drawings and specifications.
The operator’s primary duties include setting up the machine, installing tools, and configuring parameters like speed, feed, and cutting depth. Operators also load raw materials, monitor the machine’s performance, and inspect finished products using measuring instruments such as micrometres and callipers to ensure quality standards are met.
Regular maintenance, troubleshooting machine errors, and ensuring safety protocols are essential parts of the role. Operators work closely with engineers and supervisors to meet production targets efficiently.
Jyoti CNC values skilled professionals who have a technical diploma or ITI certification in machining or related fields. Hands-on experience with CNC programming and a solid understanding of G-code are added advantages.

Job Description
- To plan daily machining, use blueprints, specifications, work orders, orthographic drawings, geometric dimensions, and tolerances.
- Manage stock inventory with regular checks and anticipate needs with responsive ordering.
- Program these elements for mills and lathes: reference points, calibration, conditional switches, tool registers, compensation, offsets, calculation requirements and part programs.
- Install and adjust tools, collets, cams, stops, bushings, four-jaw chucks, three-jaw chucks, gears and stock pushers for mill and lathe set-up.
- Lift stock to load feeding mechanisms.
- Detect and troubleshoot system malfunctions by taking measurements, adjusting controls, reprogramming machines, and closely monitoring grooving, drilling, and cutting.
- Adhere to all company, local, state and federal protocols and safety regulations.
- Complete regular preventative maintenance and call for repairs as needed.
- Communicate with other shifts and accurately document daily production operations to maintain continuity.
